I wish I understood
But it must not be my time
Manners, no longer matter,
I am learning.
Slowly I fade from existence
Darkness overwhelms,
Consuming what little sustains
With swift tongue and
Gnashing teeth
I am reduced to pulp.
Extracted of all but pain
Remains. Untouched,
No date to expire
Yet I'm put out to pasture
Chewed up. Or spit out.
Shrouded in doubt
Less than zero,
Nobody's hero.

i don't know what you are talking about you 'can't seem to write anymore'- girl!
don't you know your on fire?!! we all love you and your beautiful style, flow,
layout, creativity, grace, sarcastic wit, and rhymes that are a special gracious
treat to read! anyway- if you feel like this then your in need of a long hot bath with
candles and a box of mints! your'e an amazing writer! ::never doubt yourself again!
...although this poem declares you are nobodys hero i strongly disagree:)

I get it. I fall in the same slump sometimes. It seem like my heart or spirit just doesn't care enough to pick up the pen or keyboard...wh'ever.

| Your commentary at the top seems to be lying about the state of your poetical ability. Your talents certainly shine through here, inspired and well thought out. You are a hero to more than you know or think. If this is you not being able to write we are all in big trouble. |
