I Unpacked Myself These Last Few Years

I unpacked myself these last years,
removing packages wrapped in feeling felt,
others barbed twine better kept at bay-
today (not really, but I'll say) is it-
but no one room can hold them;
pull here, tug there, this one needs a rip-
no mind all at once can pay them mind,
(all at once)
'ere them trouncing hard upon
the naive enough to tear the wrap,
or beaten enough to face the music.

wow... all these things
"no mind all at once can pay them mind
all at once..."
Invierno, you sort of wonder
about looking at things torn apart
like a prism here
I like this bit here.
There is all these clouds
and caught in between them
a filtered stream of light
let's say a brilliant rainbow
It reminds me of the building where I work
It's very open and I have a stand up desk
that sits directly in front of windows more
than thirty feet high
And the cavernous room changes
And all the things look different depending
on how the light hits the room
Like your outside where you really
would like to be.
I think I understand your concept
I could be wrong, but
but facing the music is to me
the coolest, wildest, most
truest way to one day feel
all the beauty there is.
This is a good track... you should
expand on it more from time to time
Best always!
Peace! |

Hello there boet
Yes this is a difficult path in life. We never want to give up what is ours. Be it good or bad. That's why most people in fact 99,9% of us have baggage. It's mine al mine I tell you and I won't give it up. That's how we see it. Then comes a day when we grow a pare of balls and once again we all get there some day. Then this process that your at starts. The unpacking and discarding of unwanted goods. Found in the closets of the heart and mind the sheds of the sole. Its not an easy path my friend but its very necessary. Some start unpacking and sifting and others just toss everything away. Which ever you chose. Good on you my friend you will feel better and rest well from here on in. This is a great write and very good expression of emotion and raw honesty. God bless.
Greetings

I like the concept of unpacking and unwrapping. You wrote this just abstract enough for the reader to enjoy unwrapping the mystery in your words.
Good stuff.
