Quando ho sentito musica cara
Io sento un peso nel seno mio,
Ma l’alma mia così leggera,
Quasi vuole giungere al Paradiso!
Cara, ti chedo-che cosa
È questa nuova sensazione
Che il mio corpo non sa;
Che ora mi strugge?
Quando ho leggeto un poema bravo,
Io sento cuore mio trema, testa mia mi manca
E quesata emozione immensa guinge dal cavo
Del’apertura in me.
Oh, la mia bocca-ha mancato,
In questa la tua braccia-lucente,
Come un’altra stella, che mi ha abbagliato
Un’altro sole, iluminoso più che oro...
Quando sei vicina, vicina a me
Quando mi prendi, agli seni tuoi, fragrante:
Mi sento, che io sia nel’allarme
E nel estati in lo stesso tempo!...
....è l’amore, questi pensieri;
Che di te ebbi, che ho e avrò?
Cosa poter fu in tuoi sussuri,
Che mi ha in tua potenza?

Like another star, that dazzled me
Another sun, more illuminous than gold..
When you are close, close to me
When you take me into your fragrant bosom, I feel that I am alarmed
And in summer at the same time!...
And the love, these thoughts;
That you have
That I have and will have
What can I do?
