As I sit here Daydreaming of you~~~~~
I can see you standing here and then
I realize our days together were so few~~
For when you love someone in this way
Your heart, your mind is captured by them
Thinking of them all throughout the day
You were my jewel, you were my gem
Oh if only your heart and mind could see
What you were and still are to me~~~~~
Perhaps then there would be a chance
To bring a happy ending to a lost romance
Oh how this morning you come shining in
Into my heart, into my mind once more, again
Like the Sunshine that dispels the Night
Your radiant memory is always in my sight~~~
Love is not always an easy road
The course of Love cannot be untold
Concerning you my heart will forever be
Loving you, with the hope you will Love me
Yes, this morning the Sunlight beams on in
As I go on Daydreaming of You ~~~~~~~~
Singing this Love song with no Violin, to begin
Playing this Love Story of me and of You!
For when you Love someone in this way
They take captive your heart and your mind
This kind of Love will never fade away
For Into my life unforgettable Sunlight shined
You were my jewel, you were my gem
My heart and mind are captured in time
With memories of you, I cannot let go of them
So, this Song I write of your memories for all time!
