What do the fish think
At the bottom of this river?
I think to myself
Uhh, it makes me shiver
Stories of brethren
From their past
Their track record
Must make them gasp
A group of red drum
Taking a mid week cruise for fun
Down came bait, a hook
The outsiders, it was little Johnny they took
And those little kitties
Their story, what a pity
A great life they were set
Until they all met their match, a net
Then came about
A school of glistening trout
For one, an innocent look up to the sky
Yes, they were caught, on the fly
And then the salmon
You bet this happened
Down stream they swam, they dared
And ran into Mr. brown bear.
What do the fish think
At the bottom of this river?
I think to myself
Uhh, it makes me shiver
