silently i reach out to you with my words
they glide across the page as i watch them
as patiently i wait to see what they speak
deep in my soul- never sure as they seek
poetic methodology is all i know it seems
this moments passing of heart's relevance
expert qualifications are irrelevant for-
'tis the soul that whispers ones true worth
there is a correlation between mine and yours
as words weave unbidden of their own accord
capturing glimpses of life as forever and ever
and ever we write, as time moves forward
alternatively perhaps no causal connection
as this silent evidence created for all time
print blends what is yours and what is mine
into most sweet melodious immortal rhymes
words that will outlive this writer's voice
to flow on- into the particles of tomorrow
all poems from happiness to saddest sorrows
have a side effect of having high sensitivity
which of an instant may warm quivering hearts
give enlightenment to some lost frightened souls
for the real world is fuzzier than pure logic- and
words escape freely onto parchment with no tricks

I am nodding in agreement at everything you said- from the author's note, to final line. Your words illustrate the fervent urge with which our words command our attention.
The second, and last stanza are my favourites. Although I am taking away more with each subsequent reading.
Love this. Thanks for posting.

Hi Nessa, once more you lay before us a piece, an Intricate weaving of words from the Soul. There Is always something of Interest to be found In your poetry. Words stir the heart to feel such deep emotions within. Each time I read this piece I find something new to grace my mind. Your words can speak volumes. Forever let your heart and Soul sing. May your pen ever run gold Nessa. Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE. |

I've always wondered if, in years to come, someone would actually read something I'd written long after I'd gone. You've given me that thought back here, loved the lines
words that will outlive this writer's voice
to flow on- into the particles of tomorrow
I'm pretty sure you will leave a legacy of your words for others to find, they are a treasure worth seeking.

why read
draw or hide or seek
the simple thing I see
I wish for thee
I see this simple
note
I hear collecting thought
distant far off
clear through fog
a voice so true
I evolve don't we all
just don't they
wonder too
Thank you so much ladyfawn, you are an artist indeed!
Peace!

Wow Nessa... I never knew there was so much in
The world of words...you have me wondering
at each and every word of yours...
"There is a correlation between mine and yours
as words weave unbidden of their own accord"
Great poetry...

Yes, words escape into the void. Sometimes lost, but sometimes caught by those who feel them.I feel these words. |
