You better be careful.
Pointing those pointed accusations,
You might find one or five in your back.
Slinging the truth around
Until its blurred at the edges,
You're so full of *****.
She pretends to be the one in despair
Lazing about the house,
Like the pompous self-righteous cat
That she really is.
Meanwhile we all struggle to keep her from spiraling out of control
When the curtains finally come down.
And she blows everything out of proportion again.
She is the thief of my last decade
Quietly and sensually stealing my time away.
For the pleasures I get from her
She hardly pays out.
The worst gamble you can take,
Is on the broken one.
My own high minded ideals brought me here,
I suppose you can't have your cake and eat it too.

I really like your voice here...Strong, determined, "I'm too old for this ****" attitude. If you'll pardon the Lethal Weapon reference. Scathing in its brutality.
Those first three lines!!! Ouch.
