There’s a flower blossom in my bed
But the sight of her brings tears
I yearn for her delicate touch on the breeze
Was it ever there at all?
I search for the memory
Of dreams purposefully lost
Yet my feet and heart ache at the thought
Just focus on the hunger in your soul
There’s shadows of spring
Hidden in the snowflakes
All’s water in the uncontrollable heat of your heart
Best to watch them fall alone
Winter will always warm my mind
The beauty of wild death and life
I cannot help but cherish this rebirth
Another chance at living

Mixing the concrete with the beautifully abstract. I love it. |
