LostLove

I hold a candle to the sun,
a love-letter to the flame.
How can I expect fire?
When all I wish for is rain.
You left the knife in my heart,
an image of your eyes in my mind.
How can you expect friendship?
When you drained the trust from these veins.
The days are now living nightmares,
every person seems to have your face,
I forever hear your voice in my head,
and I have your chilling ghost in my bed.
