A tortured soul

Locked behind the gates of hell
where peace is an illusion and a soul faces continuous anxiety
The lost soul searches for peace and balance and an escape
from the misery that is on going and never rests
The spirit of what was once flesh and bone
has an undying desire to find love in it's purest form
not the empty shallow love that comes from words spoken without feeling and heart
In his mind mixed with the smell of sulfur and rotting flesh is a small flicker
of possibilities. His thirst is unquenchable and his vision though blurred moves him forward
the majestic music from heavens trumpets can be heard off in the distance and is masked by
the sounds of the hell hounds who call out for the weary and worn out

Your words carry the darkest of black emotion yet you still bring forth a dimmer of lighted hope. Such anguish in the write's soul. May you find the peace the release of your words can give you. Light always triumphs dark - it just sometimes needs a nudge and make take a bit of time. Hang in - so much more in the clouds for all of us. Very intense write, thank you, P |
