Onan, son of Judah,
Smitten in Genesis
For spilling his seed on the earth,
Died for denying
The Almighty Nemesis
His wombsworth.
If he had lived
In the twenty-first century—
Onan that is, not God mind you—
He, I’m certain,
Would have had a vasectomy:
Sentient Jew.

Had to read this one just for your rural identifier.
And it was well worth it. Nicely scribed. A thinking man's poem.
