The restless dreamer

A captive tortured soul trapped on a ship at sea
There is no land insight only possibilities
The dreamers spends his time reflecting on people and things he has seen
some in the real world some in dream land
the inner conflicts that keep his soul bound are relentless and never ending
The sad reality is he alone holds the keys to the bonds he wears
He carryies the regrets and sorrow in a burlap bag on his shoulder
The pain is constant and never ending
There have been those who tried to tell the dreamer of one who could release them
but the dreamer afraid of another disappointment continues on his never ending journey
