Lightly emanating dismay from the absurdity of an untimely farce
delicate marionette neither here nor there, your life, so strange on Mars.
A travesty among billions of constellations, a dishonesty between ions.
Interstellar debacles in dim-lit proceedings, a falsity beneath orion.
Celestial equator, witness to colossal propulsions.
Charming crater, kindness dealt in discretion.
Fragile doll, how it came to be you are here,
encrypted scrolls, kept hidden where you are near.
A scrap of an idyllic clue, a map with an X marked in blue.
A trap yet exists in one such scripture, resembling that of a noxious tincture.
Tender effigy, make your stay worth the while,
saving you might not fall duty to whom you admire.
Scarlet cheeks, rosy disposition,
undignified remarks kept prisoner.
Floating for eons, not a spirit in sight,
yet you shimmer on, as a neighboring star yet again takes flight.
