The greatest man

I am the greatest man to grace this Earth,
For all my flaws, I am more worth
Than most of you who dwell in past,
For you have stumbled, and I hold fast.

I am the greatest man, this Earth to grace,
For life is nothing but the greatest race
Not to the finish line, to pass there first
But for great knowledge, to quench this thirst.

I am the greatest man, I shoulder a whole world,
Not yours, nor theirs, but mine alone, to mold,
To bear, to toil, to hold closely to my chest!
I am the greatest man, for you have fallen to my jest.
