15 minutes of shame.
looking down a lady’s top
a glimpse of cleavage
on a packed bus
I don’t know what’s all the fuss
15 minutes of shame.
caught red-handed in the shops
a memento taken, not bought
filthy looks from the store clerk
overkill, calling the cops
15 minutes of shame.
farting in a crowded lift
I should know better, at my age
how embarrassed is too much?
still, something in me wants to rage
15 glorious minutes of shame.

I smile reading this
Looking at a woman
And seeing her husband
After
He knows, I look away
I never explained to my wife
All men are just the same
She knows, all the same
They really aren't ---
And the fart, hello... heard from the other side of the room / or the quiet noxious one
That certainly wasn't from you
You never grow out of that certain sense of shame
That's just what you have
When everything else seemingly has
disappeared and is long gone
At any age.
Sometimes it's hard not to look --- ha

Nice one, Spike. Gave me a laugh. Indeed! 15 glorious minutes of shame...Keeps life exciting and shakes things up a bit. Ya gotta stay on your toes, after all.
