Let us go into a brave new world.
To sail beyond the sunset and the fiery seas.
To take a breath of air between two stars.
Fresh and new spender is the key.
Not to forget the atrocities of our past.
We must fight for what we believe, and why must be only right.
If we fail, the waterfall bridge no more.
We have forgotten how to bridge that which matters.
It matters not what we live, but why we live.
How is only the medium, which we must set aside.
Existence is not good enough, if we hope for one more chance.
We cannot take the selfish path, of the less of the traveled two.
Learning to listen so we can listen to learn.
What say you, ready to change that what must be fixed?

I say yes,
progressive
I say yes
talk
I say speak
not ugly like
tell the truth
everybody knows
there are a lot of fixes
but as you say
It has to be
A brave new world
no more revisionist
whom ever we are
listen to wisdom
the wise person doesn't
just earn wisdom
They give it unto
the rest
yes, there's a long
path to success
but that's never the
end
It's only the beginning
Always
young and old
BTW I adore Teddy Roosevelt
even though his stance on war
I am at odds with
One has got to understand what
he was born to deal with
He was a brave leader who in the
end was progressive for the very
reason I think you wrote this
interesting poem
which I of course agree with!
Thanks!
Peace! |

I like how this is unclear if this poem is a challenge to you yourself, or to a loved one. Perhaps a bit of both? Some good lines to mull over that begs discussion.
We have forgotten how to bridge that which matters.
It matters not what we live, but why we live.
Indeed.
Keep it up.
P.s happy thanksgiving :)
