Surrounded by autumn beauty and tranquil breeze
Thankful for a rare and crucial perspective
Labor finished and learning commenced
Absorbing peace and thermal, caffeinated comfort
The portion that will remain vivid on this journey
Scholasticism married with leisure is consummate
The world is then brighter beyond the classroom
An academic jail I think not; an undergraduate utopia
A dance floor, a theater, a hospital, a God-blessed haven
The key is exploration, looking past the lecture hall
Fatigue fades with fascination
Emptiness eradicated by mutual empathy
Solitude by social intervention
Chaos by comfort and communication
Self fulfillment and talents discovered arise
All when one ventures outside the classroom
