I rub my face and frown
because the pain never fades
and
it is so hard treading distorted waters
when everything is out of order,
to be living like this
without a moment of bliss
has me at the mouth of madness
feeling only sadness.
So emotionally crippled
my will slowly cracks and breaks
and I'm starting to see there's no escape,
I can barely relate
and I am so scared
that my life has been a waste,
oh man I'm in deep
the thoughts of giving up are gaining.
I can only moan
and
shiver and shake
death is the only release
from all of this pain,
I twitch
as I relapse
and fall back into sad situations of my own making
silently I scream
to live like this is really frustrating.

Very powerful writing. I would like to hope that it's just that and is mostly fiction based in truth. Your writing is a gift, so don't give up. I am sure this has touched many a true poet here from a true poet.

You are not alone, my friend. A strongly emotive piece, very raw. Genuine. "Has me at the mouth of madness". Wonderful...No matter how dark the moment is (and it IS just a moment)...Remember; this too, shall pass.
