Thank you for the smile on my face.
Now there is no trace.
Of the bitter tears I cried.
My heart breaking sadness has died.
That's the thing about true friends.
Sometimes, you drive them round the bend.
Yet they never leave you in the lurch.
Like the ugly duckling on its own perch.
They are always there to dry your tears.
They are always willing to lend you an ear.
That's what true friends are.
Not a bottle of brandy or whisky in a bar.

I must agree with this poetic statement
That gives to every true friend a compliment
But, we must know how to erect a fence
This is for our and our friends' defense.
