Don't be a mence to society

Life in the hood as we know it
is a prison but just a little different
some escape to tell the untold stories of their fallen homies.
Who unfortunately wasted their undiscovered talent
because education was to hard of a challenge.
Murder in the streets is just a unwanted abortion.
Taking our youth in large apportions.
It's the same thing in every hood people surround the yellow caution
just to see the scene of a body with no motion.
Watching bodies drop everyday in these streets
it's common so there's no emotions.
Even if you stay out of trouble the killer aim but misses his target,
now your zipped up in a body-bag waiting to be discarded.
For the one's who don't miss they target
they walk up to the body and say you thought i was bluffing.
Bragging at the fact they killed somebody love one's for nothing.
Youngsters in class being disruptive because their career is straight up thugging.
Moms around here take care their babies by there selves to the day they die
Or til their grown as baby go to jail or have a bloody demise.
First day of high school they told us to look to our left
and look to our right half of us will go to jail or die.
None of us reply because we already no why.
They said the other half will survive
and emerge from the hood like a dolphin leaving the ocean
but return to the hood just to stop by.
Hatred in the hood is just a bullet with no name on stand by.
Pull the trigger now you got to kiss your baby goodbye.
A soul less body later to be forgotten.
Forever trapped in the hood laying on some cotton.
Definition of a gangster is the innocent turning rotten.
Daddies could of made a difference if they wasn't die or in prison for life.
Life in the hood is no paradise, it's like rolling a dice
whatever number appear that's the years of your life.
So before you move to a city that have killing for no reason you better take my advice.
Think twice because you or your children will have to pay the price.

Oh wow!! I don’t believe I’ve stumbled across your work before, but here we are, signed in at the same time ...

What a delight, (a Rapper’s Delight!?), to read. Multi-layered and real.
I see this is your latest post; yet it’s five years old.

I sure hope you are still writing...You have a gift for storytelling and this was playing as a song to me as I read along. Nice!
