The moon wont be full
for another two nights
could have fooled me.
As it is shining from
behind the lofty pine tree's
casting on the city
a soft white sheen
even seems the shadows
tonight,are glistening.
It seems to be moving
fast across the sky
lighting up reflections
in the pools of my brown eyes
it wont be full
for another two nights
but you could have fooled me.
The city is still, well somewhat tonight.
The air still warm,
wet down with humid.
The darkness is romantic to me
lost in the night,
and night shine.

There is always magic in the moon.
I've often looked at it, thinking it is so close you could almost touch it, yet knowing it is in reality so far away.
Nice write
