How bueatiful a New sun

Contributed by invierno on Thursday, 4th September 2014 @ 05:37:56 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

This morning my toes touched grass, cool and wet-
only I know how it felt right then-
the joy and peace of wet feeling squirmed in,
the dawn's dewy inclusion within.
I soaked and absorbed sun's new rise,
climbing my feet to my heart
to blue dawning skies;
a day fresh and virgin-
sweet and untouched-
not debauched not soiled
by life's cruel crutch.
The sun so new, so sweet in the dawn,
spoke to my heart far beyond
the toils and soils my life has wrought-
this gleaming sun, this magic sought-
and found.

Hi bud

Yes to appreciate makes us human. This is a stunning write. There are few things in life that are set in stone and a new day is one of them. The sum my very well not rise for you or I tomorrow but it will rise for someone. The new day is like a new born babe. We never know what it holds for us but it holds something. The question is what you will do with the days gifts or challenges. Now a sun rise is a beautiful thing no doubt and its beauty lies in its unknown and mystery, but the sun set can only be beautiful if you have grasped the day with both hands ridden it like a wild bull in a rodeo and got off the victor. However to be a victor does not necessary mean you got the gold. It means that you lived that day to the best of your ability and that you are satisfied that you gave your best that day. Blessings

Greetings
Rus

splendid indeed... great poem my friend Inveirno,
absolutely a beauty!
The foot feels itself only when it touches the ground
someone said

I smiled reading this one
weeds grass flower dew
tangled up life full of stress
And then moments
Like this

Absolutely never better
than this

even with sorrow
Nothin' particular ---
such a perfect line

Peace!
