Every now and again I think of a girl I once knew,
Turned to her for my friends were few,
I wonder on these days,
What it was that drew me to her,
And the only reasoning I can come up with is,
That she reminded me of me,
Or that she had a beauty that I wanted.
She has the biggest blue eyes,
Somewhat innocent and true,
Her face was pure, happy and cheerful,
Yet what she become was the opposite of that.
I sometimes wonder if I ever saw her again,
Of what I would say to her,
Or if I'd just walk by, knowing she was there?
