no matter what you think
no matter what you do
you need to keep in mind
there's always good in you
if anyone is perfect
I have'nt seen it yet
but as long as you're trying
it's as close as we can get
never feel like your not good enough
it's sure to let you down
one day what you are looking for
will surely come around
so instead of feeling down
let the whole world see
you're proud of who you are
and who you've come to be
just keep that perfect smile
and pride in all you do
above all keep in mind
there's always good in you

I should try to keep some of the words in this as a maxim.
Sadly I'm one of those people to whom you refer, who always doubt themselves and who never think they are good enough.
I know, I must try harder....thanks for reminding me.

Thanks thehotshotpoet!
I had a really terrible week and I felt like I lost all my confidence and well it just sucked.
Only on Friday did I come together and concentrate and work the way I wanted to.
Your poem made me smile, the truth is you got to push on past the rut. We all got something good, and that's a good thing to always remember. Push on, and well I hate to borrow that Nike slogan, but "just do it!" is the the best way to find it.
