Come To The One Who Is Love! by Rev. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde
Now there is many things said about Love
Yet everyday we are Loved from above
Some say that Love is kind and sweet
That Love blossoms when two hearts meet
The Word of God has some to say also
For Love truly is about the One you know
He who is the Word became flesh for us
He could have left us in sin and been just
Yet Love manifested Himself to reconcile
My friend Love has made it all worthwhile
Now Love is patient and oh so wonderfully good
For True Love awaits turn to Him if you would
This Love could be Boastful and Proud but it is not
It seeks you and wants your sins and wrongs forgot
Up to you to be forgiven and reconciled to God
Love rejoices in Truth and abhors evil this is not odd
Come to God Who is our Deliverer, Who is our Hope
For you see True Love perseveres and helps us to cope
God Who is True Love reaches out for you this very day
In the form of His Son Jesus the Truth, the Life, the Way
Come now be reasonable and give your Life to the Lord
He paid the price for sin and He is the Living Word
Give your life to Him and allow True Love, allow God in
Depends on your choice whether your soul will loose or win
For those who call on His Name He will cure sins ails
He will be with you always for His Love never ever Fails!
