At waters edge tears reside
honey due moon drip sip upon ripples upon tide
languished lengthening of longing pangs the pride
cold flaming tongues and lips ripped apart
toes test the water to baptise the heart
the two stand together igniting the spark
one upon water the other on land
serpentine forged silver sword
silver trembling hands.
bride and groom
sun and moon
ring of fire
wedding band

I Love these lines. Very well done.

very beautiful poem! I love it!
I know it's personal, I know of a lake
named Silver Lake.
Peace and calmness it is surrounded by
the stars at night, no roads or houses nearby.
It sings of a beginning perhaps of the two
who pasted by, like it was where they perhaps came together for the first time.
It's a very beautiful poem indeed! I think all beautiful places should have always a Lady's name. Best always AW!
