Day Long Musical

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Friday, 22nd August 2014 @ 09:29:26 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

Melody and rhythm flowing from my musical lips
Embracing the world in which I curiously wander
Across gorgeous yet empty landscaping I prance
In search of one to give my vocal credentials a chance

Fortunately I find solace in the amatuer choir
We project to the Heavens our varied tones and vibratos
Are those admiring spectators I see outside
Rushing out to greet the precious audience we are

Suddenly I glance upon the source of harmonious chords
Calm cool and collected he is as he approaches the ampitheatre
He is content with the absence of seats and commends us performers
For providing him with a personal sample of entertainment

With a change of scenery the spotlight is on me and the guitarist
Amazed at my range and vast selection he renders me the floor
Complimenting my lyrics instrumentally
Oh how the audience grows and joins in the chorus
And as the lights fade I reminisce of the Day-Long Musical destined for us

Really cool, Deidra. This one emits a nice feeling. Like hot chocolate.

Best,

Invierno
