So Close Yet So Far

Contributed by FindingMyself on Thursday, 21st August 2014 @ 09:08:07 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

So close yet so far...
Trying to survive between the major cracks in the road!

Trying to stay on the right path
So close to falling off the edge

She looks at the deep dark black hole with tears running down her face
Wondering why this bump is putting more of a dent on her than she already has

She finally made part of her dream come true...
Better late than never right?

Before things weren't so bad...
But once her grandma was gone, she felt like everything was falling apart!

Things were tough but she made the promise of going to a 4 year, playing soccer and graduating

Hitting so many bumps in the road...with things going on at home
But she couldn't do anything about it!

In the beginning she fell but picked herself up towards the end.

Living in this constant struggle trying to do all she can...
But deep inside she cries so much and nobody will ever know because she holds it all in and walks around with a smile on her face!

Though she isn't giving up,this road is slowly breaking into pieces...
Now she wonders...what will be left if it all falls apart?

Wonderful poem, now.....write another to keep her whole.

You have an ability....use it to help this girl. If it's you, then write out your anguish in poems. It WILL help.

Best,

Invierno

The struggle is clearly present. Your anguish so visible and tangible. Trying to keep the wall up and hide the sorrow takes strength: but you don't have to be strong all the time. Let it out, just as you have here. May God comfort you in all this and give you hope. He loves you and so so we here,

Deidra

I mirror what the others have said.
You are very talented. I understand things falling apart,
then putting things back. Life is a struggle these days but you have something deep inside you, keep going, and that little word HOPE, well it is incredible. Hugs and more hugs

Michelle
