Many thoughts float around my mind
The peaceful, the gloomy, the exciting, the indifferent
They come and go as they please
Yet there are the ones that claim their permanent residency
Intriguing tenants you may call them
They bring me to beautiful moments
Where we laugh and play as children
When we let all else go besides joy
Enjoying each other's precious company
Love has never felt so real
A lover's embrace never so secure
His eyes engage mine, creating harmonious adoration
Is it not clear that this is meant for you
Of course darling, no one else can have this poem's claim
Truly I wrote this for you

Hey Deidra,
This poem is special to me just now... 17 years ago my wife and I married.
Moments new and fresh came and went but we just stay close together learning about each, her way is new to me never just the same. I couldn't have imagined this place now, the kids as they are and there's so much to feel thankful about.
Thank you! I will take your poem as the real personal gift it was to read.

So simple and so beautiful,i could relate to this at one point when I was going through things with my ex..I write so many poems for him or just about him but I have never shared any of them with him because we aren't together.It is the feeling of being scared because I feel like it wouldn't really mean a thing to him but all I can do is pray and hope for nothing but the best...Keep writing your beautiful poetry I LOVE IT!
