For That I'm Sorry

Contributed by still_questioning on Tuesday, 12th August 2014 @ 03:35:23 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I laid hands on you and for that , i'm sorry .
and I know it's too late
but I lied.
I didn't mean to lie I didn't know I would go back to that
person I just knew that I didn't want too .
but it's never that simple we all have flaws maybe this one is a fault .
or maybe it's my
desolation
You can try to get rid of it all you want , but it always
finds a way back to you.
it's like a scar , never goes away even if it
does it takes years .
I didn't mean to poison us. But I did.
I sit here
with millions of thoughts but they all fall down along with my tears.

You sit in there with millions of thoughts but they stay .
it's truly unsettling .
You think i'm mad , angry , furious . You always thought that .
to tell the truth i'm just miserable
but that part of the story was
ripped out of the book and given to a trouble soul.
It didn't like that version very much , so it wrote over it.
but underneath all that still remains the original .
I hurt you and for that , i'm sorry .

You have captured the heart of the matter so accurately that I find myself refusing to believe you! Thank you for the trip back…it has made me feel lighter than air to know I never have to experience that again.
Well crafted.
