With the early promising morning
I place my hopes, my fears and my dreams in you
In unrelenting trust
With unconditional love
I turn my head up
Throw kisses to the sky
I pray we turn out alright
From this darkness will come a light
One deep look into your eyes
Reveals all I need to know
All we need to say
Conveyed through a stare
Trapped now
In your gaze
You materialize and appear
I am desperate to never let go
Wish to always be close
May my heart always feel your warmth
May our shadows contort to embody our souls
If you would have me, I promise to build you a home

Stumbled across this little beauty when I clicked on the wrong page, on the home screen. So glad I did. There is a sense of hope and positivity in this poem. Desirable feelings that anyone would wish to have directed their way.
