Drink star of occasioned purling stream
That with bubbling fleet of blackened stone
Sings of brief stumbling light,
Or of old dreams shining in the twilight
Drink star, and dream
Of tired eyes and ancient bone
Of destiny and raucous stone
Drifting through the night

Wonderfully evocative. And, dare I say it, of celestial beauty.

I like this, I am currently writing the history of Amphraisia for Romero's Quest and this is poetry reminiscent of my story. Old and eclectic tidings of beauty and history abound in your offering. |
