Thank you for the anguish.....
your work was not in vain.
Thank you for the emotional ties...
But most of all...
thank you for the lies!
Thank you for the hope,
about a future which you spoke..
Thank you for the lengthy length of rope
where all my dreams were hung....
But most of all...I Thank you for your Unfaithfulness...

You really have a gift, nikkib. I hope you continue to create. It's my belief that the poet must have the heart of a poet to be one, and the writing comes second. anyone can pick up a pen and blah blah.
You have the ability and the most important thing- the heart of a poet.
You also have a unique insight and way of sharing.
