::rapture::

Topic: NaturePoetry

little bird so soft and sweet
grabs flying bug in her beak
flowers bloom in lovely scent
branches lean slightly bent
and through greens of trees
earth- quietly the sun it sees
of mighty life- rustling forest
everything after rain porous
trees hold sympathys ruth
breathing in innocent truth
secrets that the earth kept
tears that pines have wept

no more beautiful than this
image face- mountain mists
matters not- a moon so high
to move the earth and skies
ever silent- grasses swirled
each heart walks in worlds
animals validating their race
as nature ever runs in place
breezes blow as rivers flow
sun it sets most rosey glows
whilst one wonders of mars
as wind sighs between stars

Hello Nessa

Well first I love this poem for the fact that it rhymes and flows well. Then there is the story. Nature is always beautiful it calms the mind and soothes the soul. Beautiful write. Blessings

Greetings

Very well done, Nessa. Others beat me to the punch on comments..mine would be redundant.

As usual, you produce fine pieces that evoke what you intend to be evoked.

I thank you,

Invierno

Elegantly written, it makes me think of being at my favorite place in NYC, because the first thing that comes to mind from this is peacefulness. Lovely :)

Hugs & love,
Donavan

Poor little bug carried away she may have been a beatle ? Stirs the heart thinking that any life should ever need perish for any reason ~ That's why we have to make it to Zion inside the city's walls where nay, life shall ever see death let alone pain ~ Yet, this magical verse takes us nearly there in all of it's splendours: very lovely....

Hi Nessa, you bring before us the glory of nature. I always find great peace when I let my eyes see the true glory and wonder of nature. For the bird to eat the bug, Is that nature being harsh, no, that Is but survival. You bring before us nature clothed In Its finery. Let your pen ever run and may you paint for us such peace through your words, to bring Inner peace to our hearts. Such Is the rapture you give to us, the joy and the blessing of peace through this write. May your pen ever run gold. Have a good day. Your Friend always....MIKE.

I love this poem because of its observation of subtle beauty. It shows an appreciation for a bent branch, and a swirled grass. Things that most people never notice, are the most beautiful things.
