Ode to the Ashes

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Tuesday, 29th July 2014 @ 01:49:17 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Why must the horizon continually be drivel?
In a world full of sharp chords and words that breathe life...
We seek out the gray.
Our perception is of beautiful decay and all things that have fallen...
We love the castle's rubble much more than we ever loved the original architecture.
It seems as if we get stuck on the end or the resting place
Much easier than we delve into the existence.
Welcome to the grave: shovel meet tombstone.
As if we can sum up the soul of someone in an idiom or short quote.
Just long enough to be vague and short enough to create mystery.
Because there is no beauty in the truth,
only in the mind... The what if...
The stellar sized breadth of our imagination.
And most of it.... Most of it is gloom

maybe because we are all dreamers at heart,
imagination much more to our liking than harsh
reality:: to re-create a new reality from the bones
of life and the world to our own liking or vision of
the truth, ...beautifully penned!

hugs n' love nessa
