The Garden

Topic: dedicatedpoems

Flowers bloom;
The sun shines bright;
The breezes blow -
Oh, what a sight!

The roses red
& violets blue;
The pink carnations
Sit there for you.

White narcissus,
My mood is mellow;
Chrysanthemums
That shine bright yellow.

The lilies wave
To mark the way;
October's moon
To end the day.

I can almost smell the sweet fragrance
of flowers after reading this...
my yard is wild, tall redwoods, some wild flowers
the sweet soil of Earth's fragrance comes out
in this --- no better family than that

Well done!

Peace!

A simple poem yet well described
I can indeed see the flowers outside, even though there's no grass in my yard.
Keep writing.

Such pleasant imagery this gave me! I can almost smell the flowers. Nicely done.

I love flowers and this beautiful poem reminded me of them. I love all the colors and smells they bring.

Thank you very much.

Oh that big beautiful October moon, so crisp and sharp against the cold black canvas. What a time to be alive!!!

Sad, so very sad. I've felt October many times.
