I don’t mind holding your hand
as we walk together down this lane.
I rather think the feeling’s grand
And I hope there won’t be any rain.
I have an umbrella with little catch
in case the weather becomes a pain.
We’ll stay on the walk and be a match.
Whatever the day I’ll not complain.
Two hearts as one you and I
Our talk will be of things not bane
I’ll tell you that for you’ll I buy
a little silver broach and golden chain.
You’ll squeeze my hand with excited smile
I know for you they’re the things most main.
Things of silver and of gold, things worthwhile.
Whatever the day I’ll not complain.

Such a sonnet to acceptance Ramfire!
Love is not blind, it simply bends. "We'll stay on the walk and be a match." and my favorite " I rather think the feelings grand"…
I rather think your poem is grand!
