When Two Broken Hearts Come Together

Topic: LoveRemembered

When Two Broken Hearts Come Together

For a long time I was left alone

Many things in my life went wrong

Much injustice I have been shown

Only God's Love kept me strong

Left and abandoned over and over

Stuck in a life of forsaken love

My heart broken over and over

I turned to the One from above

He relieved my hearts misery

Saw what others have done to me

Called vocally my name one night

I am strong because of His might

Yet, He saw I needed human love

He sent an angel from above

He picked you to send to me

Two broken hearts He did see

Soul mates from Heaven above

Two broken hearts now in love

Don't wanna run don't wanna hide

Just want you by my side

Through it all, through the storm

We have each other to keep warm

Yet now you too have left me alone

Leaving me hurt to the bone

Only God can clear this all up

Only He can work this all out

Misunderstanding messed us up

My heart cries to you it does shout

Come to me, let all the other go

We love each other that we know

side by side we must be forever

Two broken hearts together!

There is a powerful combination of yearning and hope. Beautifully written. May God continue to strengthen you and make sure your hope is not deferred,

Deidra
