I am not like you
As you can see
My brain is now blue
And yellow and green
It doesn't work the same
As family and friends
Like their being restrained
And tied at the ends
Not only do I look
I think of it's being
Like a never ending book
Keeping me dreaming
You see the sun
And I see the heavens
You seek the fun
While I ask the questions
Now do you do notice
The difference in me
And surely you've noted
My minds been set free
Now you must find
That this is just great
But I've lost my mind
In this colorful lake

I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet honest look in to what you feel makes up the you. I could quite relate and it gave me a smile to know someone else can see it too. Very good imagery, thought provoking and a great read, P |
