Can you bring cheese to feast of Noel's Day,
good time of year to celebrate with cheer.
Yes, I will be there waiting you don't fear,
again together, Ma chérie, what may.
Your brother hates the sight of me some say,
and he will fight if he learns we are near.
To save us trouble, ange, let's disappear
to place at Seine where we met late last year.
There under Pont Marie away from eyes,
soon taking pleasure while sun slowly dies.
It's cold near water, mon amour, your coat
is needed, bringing montre seems most wise.
For you, ma bich, I have a special prize
a silver brooch to place upon your capote
