A manic Flows

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Sunday, 20th July 2014 @ 11:52:01 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I can't help it
but
I know
something is going to go wrong,
because when you are in my arms
I never ever want to let you go.
A manic flows...
and
It's plain to see
everything is better
When we are together,
but deep in my mind
I just can't believe
In the emotion called love.

Every time
I see that sweet
oh that beautiful smile
I start to think that maybe it's my time
but
that's when the manic takes over
and my heart breaks
as love dies,
something always goes wrong.

It's so confusing
love is what I need
but I can never ever let it
get that strong,
a manic flows
mentally melting
looking for a place to belong.

This is sad...or sad to read. I think some people fear love. Not saying that's you, just saying. We have probably all experienced this ourselves or known someone like that. I understand the fear. I think I know where it comes from but I'm babbling on now.

This is definitely poetry in action, to get the ol reader's thoughts and emotions going is success on your part.

Very well written.

Thank you and I hope that someday you can "let it get that strong".

Tim

Nick Mulvey Cucurucu lyrics

My heart beats with a ceaseless longing
of a yearning to belong

listen to me son ill tell you why your fathers strong
cause he can still say each and every single day
he's yearning to belong.
