oh, this to the diary that i keep
i tell to you all of my secrets
all of the sins to make my eyes weep
and if one may know, then so be it

a tide of tidal waves to line my shore
a glance at all of my new beginnings
a world not found, yet for me to explore
i will conquer, and collect my due winnings

i fall short on the promises that i make
i admit to you, and to my pens
oh diary, if it's my soul here at stake
then from now on, i will make ammends...
