and when we kiss,
will I be surprised?
sheer delight from silken lips
or distance in your eyes?
when we embrace,
will you melt into my arms?
resistance or surrender
to the heart and all its charms?
so many expectations
before the maiden touch,
all that we invest
never seems too much
and when we kiss,
will you be surprised?
all that you had dreamed
or disappointment in your eyes?

Hi Spike,
Well, we can't all be Rudolph Valentinos,
but I would offer that the magic is in
the sincerity. As I read this I have an image
of 'The Kiss' by Rodin.
Well sculpted, my friend.
