Manner of Feelings

Contributed by Shayle on Monday, 5th August 2002 @ 07:00:42 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Rage, hurt, hostilely,
These feelings I have towards you are immense.
Love, passion, weakness,
Feelings that I never wanted to be found.

Playing games with my head,
You're in love with another.
I sit in the background,
Waiting patiently for my turn.

Frustration, annoyance, jealousy,
I feel whenever she is near.
Freedom, wanted, whole,
I have when you are here.

Too scared to love another,
Passing up on what life hands you.
You fall back into the past instead,
I laugh as my heart is broken again.

Tears, wounds, scaring,
The process happens once more.
Memories, laughter, wishing,
I had this only with you.

Walking away is all I can do,
Now the game is on you.
Love the one that left before,
Watch as life's gift slowly disappears.
