For all those that have passed away

We are all born on this earth,
from the womb into the cradle.
A cradle that rocks the boat,
as we make sounds like a goat.

We all grow up on this earth,
getting taller and cheekier.
Or a bit withdrawn from time to time,
startled as we can be sometimes.

But most of the time,
we try to remember what brought us here.
Cuz living life,
means the moment is near.

Are we gonna be true to ourselves,
or do we get wrapped up in some charade?
The choice is ours,
but sooner or later there will be flowers.

At this event we call a funeral,
everything will dissipate.
But the one thing that matters,
the final question.

Have you been you,
or do they say shoe shoe shoe?
Cuz the one thing means,
leaving a proud legacy.

Fondly remembered by those that stay behind.
And the other thing means,
people feel robbed of so many opportunities,
to get to now you better and better.

Whatever you may choose,
it will remembered and build upon.
By those that live under the charming sun,
enchanting all to live life.

So what will you leave behind,
under the sun?

thoughtfully written less a few mis-spelled words, which
i usually don't mention but you should have them fixed,
for this is such a beautiful poem,
