A Place Even I should Not go

For whom do I write?
It should be for me.
Is it then truly,
or I am pretending, embracing,
again falsity?
I'm a tired subject-
this glass I am under,
the lens of myself so focused
it plunders.
What is left? My soul's been
laid bare.
How much of my stores
on shelves left to share?
I'm digging deep now;
the shovel is dirty,
heaving and sweating-
this thing that I am.
The bottom of me,
a place not meant for eyes,
creepy and crawly,
so heavy I sigh.
I've shown my face-
the one everyone sees,
I've even gone deeper,
I'm down on my knees.
The place that is left-
no one should know,
a place even I, Even I,
should not go.

Hello there bud
Shouldn't we all avoid that place. Over and above the fact that this poem is structured well flows nice its a good write about the forbidden. Blessings
Greetings

this is beautifully expressed, i tho, am one of not worrying much
where i go, as far as writing, as long as i'm honest, and yes- i too,
write for me, with occasional poetry for others, keep writing, i'll keep reading:)
