A dream As Strong As Honeysuckle.

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

My dream as strong as honeysuckle
tickling my nose, made its way,
of gentle pose...no dream of faces this dream state,
nor recording of events, nor a camping trip:
time, a question there-
this dream imparted essence...
I slid up to waking, knowing most wondrous true
(the moment a bass mighty tubs the line, that joy that sunny leap can be)
the purity of moment- my dream you see,
not of present here, now, this moment shimmering hue-
I live each passing day now; in this state, (each day) knowing it, aware this slip,
traversing steps to wrongs redress;
the ill coffee to saddened burdened clerk,
a trying girl dismissed upon my latte hot in hand
eyeless hand to pass tossed change,
a transaction hollow, the expected dollar, called and supplicated hand,
coins on laminate given, less personal even for the silence.

A toss of bottle to liter can, behind my back and landed;
'nothin but net', my bag swung in joy,
small boy recipient to my heedless excitation-
a dark street I no more business in my swing-
“Twas a celebration of luck....no skill I beyond a knack for luck-
if skill this be, if thrill for me -a real appreciation for the
thousand monkeys on the typewriter- I vainly ran the premise,
I, thousand time to wind, full mast tearing my mundane heart, I might create
Shakespeare, at a thousand tries, ten million keystrokes
bolstering this monkey theory lie. (Yet none see as yet by I).

This dream, pillow soft to left ear...lump behind my head,
perhaps softer cloud to cranium might
not plate so starkly the meat, the potatoes of this gift;
so as kid in a candy store,
I thought it all and so much the god's have smiled to me,
“Michael, in thee we find favor; seek true wisdom,
find ye must free by needs acceptance this invisible skeleton key'”

Dawns dewy delicate delightful fairies trance, dared with smiles
and eternal wafting so kindly gift;
placed in me unbidden, silent, knowledge (hear me!) of time's manipulability.
Fingertips, mental pictures, sailing on a cosmic ship to a 'when', to a 'then
Day one, close and focused, I turned to my my D-, (Economics not my blood rush)
My soul honest, as a black out drunk would never hit his wife,
I did not with cheating but harder study, night and day
to an A became that was a D. I learned and loved, respected most above,
my love precedence lonely as lovely.
My love, my fumbles many, sad events to mar the flow....
in my echoed darkened place, emerging I to know-
'ere not seconds prior, wrong divined; I tripped, I said clumsy I,
with a smile turned to right...(At last) back to wishes, plans to love,,,to be the man I'm not;
a being quite above in smoothness, debonair, not handsome, (not fake either) but smooth, no secret shared, safely hidden in cranial lair.

Three kinds now, a wife of adoration, returned and granted equally,
(no gift beyond her heart, rendering my traveled time juvenile, pronged)
My lesson learned and love found stronger,
there is no day to rearrange, (nor do I want, knowing now)
no smiles the sweeter,
no hugs made the stronger-
nothing....nothing...no need to change a thing-
regret I would not look to,
on days past with unchanged desire,
new and now more wondrous than the miracle of
when, with my once considered gift,
grown tarnished now and put away as last winters shawls,
this ability....this happiness when aught are all starry smiles, naturally in God's order,
the same.

this is all very interesting and beautifully full of
things that intrigue me, tho my favorite is your first
line and your last stanza, {along with the faeries
and the monkey theory in the middle}, it is good
you have no regrets, upon::

no smiles the sweeter,
no hugs made the stronger-
nothing....nothing...no need to change a thing-
regret I would not look to,

::the above lines are very meaningful to me
personally, for someday i wish to live as such,

hugs n' love nessa
