Actors Plea

Contributed by Geneva1223 on Thursday, 3rd July 2014 @ 04:32:22 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

As I stand still someone else star is shining fading mines into the distance.
Leaving me barely existing fading, fading, fading away trying to play my part in this dialogue play.
For every face I just want to run out of this place.
My heart feel like it's in an unending race.
People sacrificed so much to get me on this stage.
If I can just remember those big, black, bold word on that page.
It could be my time to shine and take over this play.
Leaving everyone speechless blinding them by the words I'm speaking.
The way I could deliver emotions as if they were my own.
I have the potential to take over this show.
But my mouth is stunk like glue with hesitation.
Leaving this play, the writer, director, and everyone in it with humiliation.
Just because I can't play my part in this tragic play.
Can someone help me find my inspiration that brought me here today?
I came here with high hopes from the door I knew this stage was mines.
And then I finally spoke those words.

so beautifully honest, i think i heard once that actors speak
in front of mirrors to learn to project their voices, and practice
their lines, maybe that will help? anyway- 'good luck' in your
play! {or is it:: 'break-a-leg'}

hugs n' love nessa
