~~ Incomplete ~~

Contributed by Jenni_K on Thursday, 3rd July 2014 @ 04:15:17 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

~~^~~

Incomplete
Like the night skies without the stars

Empty
Like a highway without any cars

Cold and dark
Like a mansion without love and light

Desolate
Like the country roads at midnight.

Barren
Like the sands of the desert when it’s hot..

Deserted
Like the little island that time forgot.

This is how I feel tonight
Even though you are just within sight.

heartbreak and imagery off the charts, each line a
vision of desolation- reach for the moon my friend; for
then you will land softly upon the stars, utilize these
moments, keep the ink flowing, your poetry is sooo
beautiful!

big hugs n' love nessa

roses at your feet

I remember those kinds of night, too! My dogs and music got me through. (Friends seemed too busy)

Definitely poetry in action!

Hi, It's always so sad that anyone has to feel this way. As nessa says sweetheart, reach for the moon, It Is always within the hearts reach. An excellent write with such powerful emotion sown Into It. Some poetry Is powerful and this Is one such piece. The moon awaits your chance to dance before It. The moonlight dance. They say Love Is the greatest joy and yet the deepest sorrow. Hang on to the moon. An excellent write. Have a good day.

Love your poem. Loneliness sometimes comes to visit and a person can feel all alone in a crowd of people. I have experienced that feeling many times.
