Reach out to my shallow waters
In search of advice
Feel the sudden abrasive chill
Of bare skin on ice
This grub is the fruit of some cruel device
But please dont retreat to warmth now
I'm the sand in the window
The corpse in the floor
I'm the one who could love
But I locked up my door
I've made my retreat
And I cant take no more
But please can you show me how?
Ignore that version of me.

this is inspirational to me...
I like the shallowness while trying
to grapple with depth.
I believe this has meaning to anyone at any age.
It speaks.
Thanks for this well done poem!
Peace! |
